#151 Sally Hudspeth – Transformed Her Body in 90 Days

 

Meet Sally:

In today’s episode, I interviewed one of my clients, Sally Hudspeth who is a kindergarten teacher.

Sally decided to change the trajectory of her life and has transformed her body in 90 days!

ABOUT SALLY:

  • I just happened to find you (Tracee) and tried the challenge and I thought the challenge was relatively pretty simple

  • I got to eat foods that I liked and I thought that this is what it’s about 

  • The hardest part for me with ever losing weight is planning

  •  I never plan out my meals because I’m terrible at that, and my exercise is the same way 

  • I have a gym membership but unless I know what I’m supposed to do, I don’t do it um 

  • To me, the biggest thing about the plan was that you (Tracee) planned my meals and told me what was appropriate to eat and if I didn’t like a certain recipe, if there’s something I knew my family didn’t as I knew, I could change 

  • And especially having that grocery list that already created  for what I would need for the week, was great for me because I knew that eating a bunch of carbs and gluten is not good for you

  • At first, I didn’t know how to change what I already enjoyed cooking; I didn’t know what to plan my meals so, you (Tracee) showing me some simple, easy recipes that taste good and that my family enjoyed, that’ was a great benefit for me

  • But the biggest benefit has been that it was doable 

  • I was at a point in my life where I was not being a good example for my daughters

  • I have three daughters, and I was noticing them gaining weight, and I thought it is my cooking, it’s my example

  • So it was something I needed to do not just for me but for them

  • It’s always been a constant struggle for my whole family to eat healthily and I thought it’s got to start somewhere

  • New habits have got to start somewhere but it has to be a total mindset because I felt like since I was paying for something, I wanted to make sure that I did it correctly and I wasn’t going to waste my time waste and my money

  • You (Tracee) provided not just the meals and the exercise plan but the knowledge behind why you know there are certain foods that may be cause inflammation and what that does to your body

  • And why we need to drink certain things or take maybe some supplements to help our bodies and, you just have such a good knowledge of not just the nutrition aspect of it but your overall health

  • I’ve gained a lot of the knowledge you and you’ve provided like the weekly phone, and I did not want to ever miss a phone call because you were pouring in so much knowledge about my health that I didn’t know

  • I’m doing this not just because they say gluten is bad but I wanted to know why and what gluten does to my body

  • I knew that adding gluten back in could possibly upset my stomach because my daughter doesn’t eat gluten and if she ever does it does upset her stomach

  • Since I teach kindergarten, the kids are all eating goldfish and cheez-its and crackers and gluten and it’s so easy to just start going back down that same path, and then when you do it’s hard to get back off of it but that’s why it was so important to be on the calls

  • Because that accountability and those friendships that you gain

WHAT HAVE YOU ACHIEVED?
  • Obviously, the weight loss but I’m so glad that you encouraged me to take measurements

  • My clothes fit better and I feel better

  • I’ve just gained confidence

  • When I first started with you, I had just had elbow surgery so a lot of my exercise was limited, and I’m finally able to do all that stuff so I can do every movement now

  • I’ve got two of my friends that have joined up with you just because I fully believe in the program and to me, it’s worth the value

  • Just like I said, not only because of the health gains I’ve got but just because of the knowledge I’ve gained
