WAYS TO CREATE HEALTHY HABITS WHEN YOU LIVE IN BUSY LAND
For the daily habits, look at your AM list and your PM list and decide what you want to book end your day with and create a checklist. 📝For my AM list, it is me to wake up, have my water with lemon and salt, coffee, gym, come home, meditate, shower and get ready for work.
What is your healthy habit checklist?
In the evening, it is wind down time. No screens an hour before bed, read, stretch, do my facial routine, have a hot bath with Epsom salt to relax my body.
Right away after work, I come home and I walk my dogs, so that will get done.
Create your own personal healthy habit list. Make it like an excel spreadsheet with check marks, because a behavior over time become routine and it becomes a habit, and a habit performed overtime will become a ritual – something you look forward to and cannot live without.
Also, another healthy habit while you are at work is setting an alarm on your phone for 55 minutes of work time, balanced with 5 minutes of walk time or stretch time. Get your body moving all through the day.
Some of the good examples that I like is set-up Sunday. Prep your week on Sunday.
Make your meal plan or your grocery list.A lot of people like to prep their lunches in glass jar, but in order to eat that, you usually want to dump it in a bowl and there are now two dirty dishes.
I prefer glass bowls, because it is a salad bowl and you’ll have a room for your dressing in it and you are just going to mix it together.
If you are doing a hot meal, it is easier to pop in the bowl and heat it up in the microwave.
Saturday should be a self-care day.
Take a break, go out and unwind. Find something to mellow and chill you out.
I love just laying around, reading, taking a nap, getting a massage – just getting some downtime. It does not need to be all day, it can be just a couple of hours.
You need to fill up your love cup to show yourself self-care and self-love.
Me and my husband likes to alternate plans, and we rotate our date nights.
That way, everybody gets what they want and they’ll feel loved in the way they like it best.
If you want to feel younger and age stronger, you need to have a girl time. 👯♀️
There’s plenty of things you can do to create a weekly healthy habit.
Also, in the skincare department, you want to exfoliate your skin.
And you need to create the checklist to make sure that you get it done.
