I am so fed up with all of the BS with health and I want to share a little story with you today.
So if your doctor is telling you to do something and it’s not working, then logic says to do something different.
Recently, I accidentally offended somebody because she was complaining about not being able to lose weight and said that her doctor told her to do a thousand calorie diet.
Well, first of all, we know that a thousand calories are not enough calories. It’s not sustainable…your body needs food.
And when I told her, she was under-eating she got offended and was all upset because I was going against her doctor. Well, if it’s not working what your doctor says then do something different.
Duh?
If you keep doing what you’ve been doing, you’re going to keep getting what you’ve been getting. Something’s got to change if you want results.
My clients eat more calories, and they move less. I used to over-exercise now I just do it like an hour a day – that’s it, and not even every day.
The whole calories in, calories out is a myth. Sometimes, your doctor says, “oh you just gotta eat less and move more.” That is complete BS because not all calories are created equal.
You need food that fuels your body.
I remember when I used to do weight watchers and it’s all about the points and you can have 100 or five points of jelly beans or five points of chicken breast or whatever but that’s not gonna work, that’s so old school.
You need quality nutrients to create quality cells which create healthy organs and wonderful optimal body systems so you can have energy, you can be stronger and healthier instead of weaker and sicker.
Do you want motivation? Take a look around you, there are sick people everywhere and it is so sad because you have a choice.
There’s a and there’s another thing… Her doctor was a cardiologist and there are millions and millions and millions and millions of people on statin drugs, yet heart disease is still the number one killer of both men and women.
Meaning?
Something is broken!
It all starts with your fork.
Americans spend most per capita on health care than any other country in the world yet we are the least healthy.
They don’t care about you, they care about profit.
At the beginning of this virus and I saw a box of lucky charms that said immune-boosting and that is absolute BS.
The marketers are able to put anything on the label. They can lie to you and say it’s heart-healthy even if it’s not.
Anything in a box is full of garbage, and even all these keto foods that they say is keto-friendly.
Most of the time it’s not okay.
The system is broken, medication doesn’t work. It puts a band-aid on the symptom instead of treating the root cause.
I’m not saying every single time but many times it is. So if you want to win, stop watching commercials, stop reading ads and stop reading all the labels.
I read this great quote and I repurposed it. It says, “People are fed by the food industry which pays no attention to health and they are treated by the health industry which pays no attention to food.”
You just gotta create new healthy habits!
