Lose Weight: 4 tips on how to lose belly fat

 

In the video, coach Debbie and I talked about our favorite tips on how you can burn belly fat.

Eating carbohydrates raises your insulin, and the insulin we know is the fat-storage hormone.

Tip number one: lower your carbohydrates so that you can become fat-fueled.

We want to burn fat for fuel instead of glucose which is sugar.

Always think bacon and eggs when you eat your first meal, but it depends if you’re doing intermittent fasting or not but your first meal should be an extremely low carbohydrate. Aim for zero, there’s even 0.5 some some kind of carbohydrate in an egg but you aim for zero.

So once you lower your carbohydrates.

And when people always feel like they need the sugar, know this, your liver will produce  a third of a teaspoon of sugar that you need in your bloodstream, and a third of the teaspoon is all you need.

When you are eating that bowl of cereal or a glass of orange juice, you’re just gaining weight ybecause your insulin is skyrocketing

So, lowering the carbohydrate is a great tool to lose body fat.

Tip 2: Go to the gym first thing in the morning fasted 

That way, I am just burning stored body fat for all the fuel to support my workout. And there are tests out there and papers
out there that show when you work out fasted, you actually raise your human growth hormones and those are injections people take to lose weight but you don’t have to take injections because your body makes human growth hormone if you will work out
fasted.

Tip 3: have a great workout and lift weights because when you have more muscle, you burn more fat while sleeping. How cool is that?

Muscle burns so much energy just from sitting there. So you want to lift weights.
It’s better than running cardio- of course burning calories is all good but we don’t have to be at the gym running for an hour and a half when you can just lift weights.

You will look better too as it changes your physique, and you’ll have a sculpted arms.

It will also help you with strong bones, strong muscles and strong joints.

So many women when they want to lose weight they become cardio queens and that can increase your cortisol and make you
hungrier so lifting weights is great.

Tip 4: Lower your dietary fat intake

When you first become fat adapted, it’s really important to have higher amounts of fat especially for the cholesterol and I’m talking saturated fat, good fats, egg yolks – all that good stuff and then you become fat adapted  because you’re not having any carbohydrates so your body starts burning fat for fuel

And if you need to lose more body fat, you want to prioritize protein and dial down the fat intake the dietary fat, skip the MCT oil when you don’t need it. Don’t use two tablespoons of butter on your steak and use only one.

I am not saying no fat, but that’s what protein-sparing modified fasts are all about.

We recommend to do a protein sparing modified fast once a week.

And also, you want a feast day because you want to keep your metabolism constantly guessing so you can trick it to burn more belly fat for fuel.

Just keep your body guessing.
