Kickstart to Keto: How to Jumpstart Ketosis

Today, we are going to teach you how to KICKSTART your way into KETOSIS. And I mean, get there fast!

If you want to kickstart and jump in really fast to a state of ketosis, we are going to do that in 5 SIMPLE STEPS.

 

Step 1:
Preparing ahead of time and getting your electrolytes on top.


When you are in ketosis, you are dumping water because you do not have any glucose or carbs to hold the water. So, you need to replace the water with a gallon a day and replace your electrolytes.

The easiest way to do that is when you wake up in the morning, grab 16 oz glass of water, chug it down and when it’s 3/4 empty, add a half of lemon squeeze and half a teaspoon of salt. 

When I worked my way up, I added a whole teaspoon of salt, but I don’t want to start you off that way. So, a half teaspoon of salt is good for you.

You also going to want to take magnesium during the night time to help you with your muscles and your other electrolytes. For potassium, you will need a potassium supplement, and you can also add avocado which is very high in potassium.

 

Step 2:
Have you morning cup of coffee with some MCT oil.

Use a C8, which is pure ketones and it is going to give you fuel for step number 3.

 

Step 3:
Fasted cardio.


A teaspoon of MCT oil will NOT kick you out of a fasting state. And your goal is to burn out all the stored glucose in your body so that it can start using your fatty acids for ketones.

So, we want to hit the gym to burn that glucose really quickly and your body will need to convert the fatty acids for fuel.

 

 

Step 4:
You’re going to the gym.


Go and burn all that extra stored glucose.

What I recommend is to take a spin class, Zumba or bootcamp, or something that is going to make your heart rate go up and down so that you can burn many calories as possible that will burn out all your glucose. 💪🏻

And then, the magic happens. You will be then a fat-burning machine and you will start burning all your stored fat for fuel.

And you know what’s cool?

You will have an ALL-DAY ENERGY. It is absolutely amazing!

 

Step 5:
Freedom.


All my life, I grew up where I could not eat fat.

I had boneless, skinless, tasteless chicken. I had salads with lemon juice and vinegar, steamed vegetables and that’s disgusting. 🤮

Now, with freedom, I have full fat dressing, olive oil, avocado, nuts, MCT oil, Kalamata olives or coconut oil. ❤️


What you’re going to do is that, when you are MINDFULLY hungry (not boredom, not stress) then, the food I’ve mentioned above is what you want to eat at the beginning, about the 1st day or two, to kickstart your body into ketosis.

And later on, we will add more things. We’ll add more proteins, fibrous vegetables.
