When you look into thefuture five years from, if you keep
doing what you are currently doing andthat trend continues, do you like whatyou see? If not, something’s got to changeand it is never too late to createchange.
It’s never too late to transforminto that beautiful creation you weremeant to be.
I want to show you threeof my role models that have totallyinspired me to be the best I can be.
The first is Ernestine Shepherd
Shestarted exercising when she was 56 yearsold and now she’s 81, a competitivebodybuilder, she’s run nine marathons andshe is looking amazing.
There’s also Josefina Monasterio.
Who started lifting at 59 years old.
And Willie Murphy
She has one of my veryfavorite stories. Willie Murphy fromRochester New York at the age of either73 or 74 walked into her local YMCAand on the board there was a sign thatsaid weightlifting competition and she
says the kid behind the board or behindthe desk and she asked, “hey could I do that?” He’s like,oh go for it granny. Well, she startedwith five pound dumbbells and fast forwardto a few years ago when she was 77she was weighing 110 pounds but coulddeadlift 220 that’s more than I candeadlift and she’s a little tiny 77 yearold woman that is awesome
Right now, I’mnot telling you to become a bodybuilderor a marathon runner, I just want you todream big dreams and I want you to know
that whatever it is you want it ispossible just like when Roger Bannisterbroke the four-minute mile19:54 before he did that everyonethought it was literally physicallyimpossible but you know what happened?
Once he once he broke that four-minutemile all these other people startedfollowing him his steps because now theyhad hope now they knew that if RogerBannister could do it, they can certainlydo it and they went on to do a sub fourrun a sub four mile. So, I hope you cansee that anything is possible and you’reprobably wondering how to’s arenot enough otherwise we would all beskinny and rich and happy.
There areplenty of diet books out there that areshowing you how to yet we were all stilloverweight. As a country, we need toswitch our focus to why why did these.
Women at a later age in life choose totransform their bodies into a strong andpowerful beam and do you think it waseasy for them? Absolutely not. Nothinggood as easy so we want to know what doyou want.
When we want to giveup and throw in the towel andeat cake, we will know that we’re givingup on those dreams. We’re not giving upon a diet, we’re giving up on thosedreams on what we really want healthybodies.
Begin in our mind because healthybodies are just an accumulation of
choices and all the choices we makestart in our mind.
One of my favoritequotes is, “your body can do it it’s yourmind you have to convince.” And whetheryou think you can or think you can’t, youare right.
Now, I’m going to talk to you about health benefits of a higher fat diet.
It decreases inflammation, decrease your blood sugar, increase your good cholesterol, your HDL, decrease your triglycerides, lower your blood sugar which is great because then you’re not on that hungry sugar roller coaster, decrease your epilepsy- if you have it, traumatic brain injury, neurological diseases, balancing hormone and starving cancer.
Fat is not thedemon here. fat is your nourish.
So what do you need to change? I know you’re wondering what you need to change.
You need to ditch the carbs; youneed to fill your body up by eating morefat. Carbs are not an essential foodgroup, they lead to inflammation andtrust me I would have never believedthis in 2014.
I wrote a book and I madefun of the people who were on low-carbdiets and I totally thought you needed carbsbut I’m living proof that you don’t andfor the last year two years, I’ve beendevouring books and podcasts justconstantly to learn more about this andit’s fantastic.
This is not a diet this is a lifestyle and itis called, KETO.
It is a high fat, moderateprotein, low carb lifestyle and it willlead to overall improved health but evenbetter, the side effect is weight loss.
What we’re going to do now is we’re going towrite your story write your vision andwrite your why.
First, what do you want decide on yourgoals. if you’re living your best life
what does it look like why do you wantit. Make it a why.
