ABOUT CORRINA

  • I am originally from Greece
  • It was an incredible time growing up there and I did not realize that until I moved here in the States and experienced the different culture
  • I have been here for over 30 years now
  • I was brought up in a home environment that is very open to metaphysics, meditation and healthy cooking
  • To me, health is something that I grew up with
  • We cook with the seasons, we pay attention to what nature has to give us
  • I grew up in an environment knowing what wellness is without even knowing that this made a difference in my lifestyle and well-being
  • I brought up my kids like that
  • I realized this amazing engine that we call “body” needs some good fuel to stay healthy and young
  • I more believe in staying young than aging
  • I look at that as an introduction into what do I eat, what do I put into this body, how do I feel, how do I emotionally support this body, where am I at spiritually and how I accept myself
  • In all of these years growing up and in the last 20 years of working in my company with people, specifically with women, this has been my goal
  • To remind people who they are and how they can stay young and how to find joy
  • We are here to thrive, not to survive
  • It’s a gift being here to share this information and help other women live every day with a smile
  • It’s very important to me to help women understand that, the personal private feeling and personal growth, it comes first
  • When you feel strong, when you stand tall, when you are happy with yourself, everything else falls into place
  • When I work with women, first and foremost, we talk about goals
  • Because we are always growing into who we are. It never stops
  • You can always make a change. It is never too late
  • In my training, we were taught that the heart’s magnetic field is 6 thousand times larger than the brain’s
  • Technically, the heart is the one that guides the body
  • I think, it is easier to move into the thought process and change your thought processes because your thoughts create emotions, your emotions create feelings, your feelings creates certain chemicals in the body and chemical reactions, which leads to the body reacting one way or another
  • So, the mind is more important in the sense of starting with and beginning with changing the way you frame your thoughts
  • I believe, one of the most important practices is going to bed at night focusing on my dreams, aspirations and exciting things
  • Many people do have a habit of going to bed thinking about worries
  • If you focus on what makes you happy, you are creating chemical reactions on the hormones that support you throughout the night and you wake up refreshed and happy
  • The more intentional you are on your dream cycle, the more active you are and the more you have control of it
  • Vitamin B is supposed to help you remember your dreams, for whatever reason
  • You definitely have the capacity of working with that when you become more aware and intentional about what you want to do during your dream cycle
  • Your dreams have a lot to teach you
  • What I do find interestingly is that, whatever work and awakening I might need, I will get those exact clients that day
  • Most people do better with short term coaching in the beginning and then, having an energy medicine session to help the body relax and to prepare the ground for the positive changes that they would like to achieve
  • After 20 years, I have developed my own organic way of reading the body and working specifically with each client
  • I do have a lot of modalities and reiki was one of my first things, healing touch is another
  • It really kind of depends on what shows up for the person and what I feel is right for them as of the moment
  • I also have a particular way or reaching the subconscious and so, I help people get into that space and realize what it is that they need to be working on and when we bring that up into the conscious awareness, it actually becomes so much easier for them to let go
  • So, it is a fast way of clearing things and healing trauma
  • Healing touch is a heart centered way of moving energy and using your hands and the field of the client to clear away the layers that are not helpful
  • It’s not a massage, it’s similar to reiki, but much more focused in the heart space
  • One of the most important things of your training and your practice is to learn how to not take in other people
  • You are the conductor
  • My body is an antenna that receives and gives at the same time
  • It is important to remember to ground myself and know what is mine and what is not mine

WHAT IS YOUR MORNING ROUTINE

  • Have a smile on my face, greet the world and to be excited about it
  • I sit quietly, I listen to my body, I go through my day of what I expected it to be
  • And it is always a positive thing, even if I have things in my day that I am not too excited about getting into, I will get into a space where I know it’s going to be a wonderful day
  • Sometimes, I might wake up and I don’t feel well because maybe I did not sleep well and I’ll try to bring myself back with breathing and intentionally focusing on something good
  • I always take time for myself first
  • You come first always
  • We have the power to make so many changes
  • Being aware and being intentional in our lives, this is where mindfulness comes in
  • Stop for a moment and focus on what your heart is saying
  • When we quiet the mind, we just give the heart a chance to talk and to be heard

ADVICE

  • Add 10 minutes in everything you do
  • Emotions have a way of filling ourselves, it’s almost like an energetic heaviness or lightness
  • So, we want to be in a place where we feel light
  • These are chances that we have to be in a place that I call, more centered
  • Which means, I am aware of how I feel and I consciously change the way I feel by my thoughts and actions
  • Bring in a lighter energy about who you are and how you feel
  • Focus on yourself, breath, quiet your mind and listen to your body
