GUT HEALTH: Tips to improve and heal your gut

Do you have a leaky gut? Or are you feeling bloated? Your gut is your second brain, and so it important to keep it healthy. A healthy gut will reduce bloating, improve digestion, decrease inflammation and improve overall wellness.

One of my favorite ways to improve your gut health is to find out what foods in your body create inflammation and to do that you want to get a stool test – a food sensitivity test that can identify the best foods for your body and the ones to eliminate.

It will also identify the nutrients that you need for support so that you don’t have any nutrient deficiencies.

The test that I prefer now is called, VIOME. (Check out the video, and below there is a link where you can get a discount)

Viome will do a stool test (yeah, it’s gross) but it’s okay because it provides valuable information. BUT they also have a new test that’s a blood test so you can do both at home. Super simple!

What they will do is, they will identify your superfoods which you want to eat more, your avoid foods which you want to completely eliminate, and then your limit foods that you can eat a little bit in portions that will not directly impact your health in a negative way.

Then, the cool thing they just came out with is customized supplements. It’s a stick pack with probiotics that your body needs and this is a vitamin pack with the nutrients that you are lacking.

Probiotics are the different strands of bacteria in your body, it’s like you have a garden and you go and you plant different types
of plants and your prebiotics will fertilize the garden.

The other thing I would add to this is a prebiotic fiber.

At night time before bed, I take a heaping tablespoon of psyllium husk just 100% pure psyllium husk and I combine it with a scoop of green powder. I love Barlean’s and Might Maca for my greens.

I drink it after dinner and the cool thing is in the morning, I get up, I drink my quart of water a cup of coffee, and then I am in the bathroom.

You definitely want good digestive processes so that you can eliminate toxins and fat.

First, eliminate all the bad stuff and then you replace it with the good stuff and then you fertilize with the prebiotics.

Let me know how it goes for you! It’s really fun to create a super salad with all of those amazing foods that your body needs and make sure you have it at least every other day.

Bye for now!
