ABOUT DR. PAT BOULOGNE

  • My first training is chiropractic, then I went to acupuncture school and I got certification and a bunch of stuff like, functional medicine, lifestyle medicine
  • I have been able to funnel all that information into one glob of information so that I have more tools to help people to go from point A to point C in the shortest period of time
  • I always say to people that when you have big stuff going one, you’ve got to stop, take a deep breathe and go back to basics
  • Going back to basics is to look at your foundation, especially your health and look at where the cracks at and fix those cracks
  • It is important to have a good immune system but health never ever goes out of fashion
  • When we lose it is when people start to pay attention to it
  • I wrote a book that became a bestseller called, Why…Are You Sick, Fat, and Tired?
  • In that book, it shows people where their weakest link is and it also shows the strongest so you will know when to funnel your time, money and energy
  • If you apply that in today’s time, it is really important to get that health’s Snapchat so that you will know where to stand
  • There are little health hacks that go along with each kind and each section of the body
  • The section of the body is called systems, and then the systems, I equate it to a Swiss watch and that’s where the components are working and that they all communicate with each other
  • Inflammation starts either from trauma, toxins and our thoughts
  • Thoughts are a big thing because they can’t undo
  • So, people who are panicking right now are making their body more stressful and more susceptible to something
  • They should just center themselves, meditate or whatever it is that they will do to functionally anchor themselves
  • There are 11 organ systems and the organ systems start with the gut and those have sub-categories of functions
  • Then the liver, endocrine system, heart, brain, musculoskeletal, endocrine
  • With all the stuff that is going on even right now, the liver has to process all the stuff and has to get rid of it
  • If it can’t get rid of it, it takes it and it stores it in the blood, brain, and bone
  • When the body gets overwhelmed, it stores it in those places so it doesn’t get in the intestinal tract
  • When someone wants to detox, you don’t want to purge
  • If your gut is not healthy then it recycles and it gets backs again
  • You’ve got to look at where’s the pattern and where do I start in order to take care of what you need to take care of
  • The concept of looking at health and looking at exercise, diet, proper sleep, good mental attitude, and a properly functioning nervous system is key components anywhere they lack and fix their problem then go on
  • Acupuncture is very beautiful
  • The Chinese had a whole era where they dealt with heat-related problems in fever and they also have an era where they dealt with cold
  • If your thinking that your foot relates to your headache, it is because there is a point in the liver and a lot of headaches relates from the liver
  • In Chinese medicine, there is a point to soothe the liver and it all relates to one another effects

TIPS

  • Having people really pay attention to what kinds of food they eat like having the right kind of foods and avoiding things like sugar
  • Charcoal gets the toxins out of your system
  • I take charcoal with supplements and taking it also before bed
  • Charcoal is a very cool health hack
  • My charcoal comes from pills and I buy it from Amazon
  • Your adult immune system is underneath the manubrium and the other part in Chinese medicine is the belly button
  • Simultaneously, I would do 30 taps to wake my body up
  • I used to get sick all the time like colds, and when I get sick, I buy filtered water and I’ll put enough lemon juice in it and I just flushed out of my system
  • Fresh air is really important
  • You can dry brush to increase your circulation
  • The other thing that I tell people is to get miso soup
  • If you’re kind to your intestinal track when something like that is going on, take a miso soup
  • People who followed the traditional Japanese diet has less effect on the fall out of radiation
  • Every time we vegetable made soup, we always blend it
  • We blend it because of it easier to digest
  • Being hydrated is so important and staying warm too
  • When I do acupuncture to anybody, I don’t do traditional
  • I always go through the emotion first and find what particular acupuncture point needs to be needed to address what’s going on
  • Emotional components got to go away
  • In Chinese medicine, when you’re starting to get sick, your mucus is clear and when it’s white or cloudy, it’s either inside or outside
  • If it’s clear, it’s more in the outside and if it’s darker, the more interior it is
  • As you body gets hotter, to cooks the phlegm and that is why it congests
  • A lot of sickness and chronic diseases take a length of time on different types of people – depending upon how your DNA responds to the environment
  • You don’t know if you’re sick and I think you should buy my book so that you can go back to it periodically and check it with yourself and see how you’re doing
  • There are different ways to approach chiropractic and me, I started from my feet and I work up
  • I want to get rid of what’s going on in my feet and go up
