Tip #1 – Dress your age

  • One of the those things is dressing
  • Like, how we dress and if you are dressing your age or not
  • It’s so fun to be fashionable, but there are ways to be fashionable without looking like your son’s girl friend
  • I am not saying to ditch your thong or G-strings
  • I am not saying to wear your mom jeans instead of your fashionable skinny jeans
  • If you dress a little bit classier, than your daughter or your son’s girl friend then you’ll be able to actually rock your outfit with pride and amazing
  • For business, I really love Ross because I find the cutest dresses by Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren and they are amazing, and they are just a fraction of the price because normally, when you go to Macy’s and buy these dresses you’ll be paying a hundred of dollars
  • For the casual wear, jeans are great
  • All jeans are great as long as they are not too old or too young
  • We don’t want to wear mom jeans. Don’t wear mom jeans
  • I found a bunch of choices at T.J.Maxx and they are super duper cute
  • Another thing we are going to talk about is cleavage
  • While showing a little bit of skin is fine
  • We want to feel sexy and we want to be a little bit flirtatious, but there is a time and a way to do it
  • You don’t want to be showing too much boob
  • If your outfit is a little bit too low cut, they have these crisscross bra’s or a bralette
  • The reason why I love it so much is because it does not have an underwire
  • If you wear an underwire and you’re going to work all day and when you come home you just want to whip that bra off and just go bra-less
  • But with these bralette, you don’t have to do that
  • I heard, a long time ago that the tribes back in native land that women don’t wear bras
  • And those women have a way lower risk of breast cancer
  • They say that if you let your “tata’s” free more often means that you are not restricting blood flow and it does improve your risk in breast cancer


Tip #2 – Sleep

  • When you are sleeping, that’s when your body repair itself
  • We are talking cellular repair, face repair – everything repair
  • The juicy sleep hours is form 11 to 3
  • Ideally, we are sleeping until our body naturally wakes up
  • Typically, I sleep from about 10 to 5 and that is my normal sleep hours and yes I do set an alarm because I don’t want to miss my boot camp classes or miss working out with my workout partner
  • During sleep is where our growth hormones kick in and our body does all these miracles
  • When you get really good sleep, you are not going to have a drag out exhausting looking face
  • A lot of people told me that they could not sleep and here’s what I’d do
  • Step number 1 – instead of looking of any blue screens at night, I read a book. That would help your eyeballs to get tired
  • If you want to read on your kindle, you can put a blue light filter screen on it or wear a amber glasses
  • You also want some quiet time before bed. You don’t want to jus go from laptop to bed
  • Some of my favorite night time ritual is stretching and foam rolling and taking a hot bath before that
  • I also take magnesium pills, about 400mg works great
  • The other thing that you want is a cool and dark room
  • I love my room, but I wear this eye mask, I have a special soft pillow case, I have a ceiling fan and I have a floor fan
  • And I wear earplugs and mouth guard
  • My husband comes to bed way later than me because he is a workaholic and a night owl
  • Before, I can feel him turning on the light and hear him reading his book and it distract my sleep, but now with the eye mask and earplug, I don’t hear him and so I sleep right through
  • You also don’t want to eat food 3 hours prior to bed time
  • 3 hours is the magic window and that way your body’s energy does not spent digesting the food when you are sleeping instead of doing cellular repair
  • Don’t drink water prior to bed time
  • Make sure you drink your liter by 9, 12, 3 and 6 and that way you are not up in the bathroom all night 

Tip #3 – The way you eat

  • We know that sugar creates inflammation in our body
  • Carbs turns into sugar and that means every single cabs turns to glucose
  • Inflammation is the root of all disease
  • Cholesterol is your mother hormone
  • From cholesterol come pregnenolone and from pregnenolone comes progesterone, estrogen and testosterone and DHEA
  • They say not to eat eggs because cholesterol is bad for you which is a bunch of BS
  • It’s pretty funny because the cholesterol that you eat actually has an inverse relationship to the cholesterol in your blood
  • If you are not going to eat it, your body’s going to produce for you because it needs it and typically it produces more
  • Don’t be afraid of eating cholesterol
  • Most of the people who died from heart disease had normal cholesterol
    levels
  • I am not a doctor
  • No offense, but doctors study medicine and diseases
  • Health coaches, fitness people, nutrition people, we study wellness and nutrition
  • Way back, there’s a saying “Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food” and there are ways that we can heal our bodies just like the ancient healers food
  • I recommend a high-fat, moderate protein, low carb ketogenic diet
  • Unless you have a lot of disease, we are going to do a therapeutic Ketogenic
  • Some of my favorite foods are avocado, grass-fed ground beef, eggs, lots of vegetable
  • Just eating high-fat, it’ll make your skin shine and glow
  • Back in the days when everything was low-fat and non-fat, you have nothing to lubricate and everything is dried out 

Tip #4 – Exercise

  • You cannot out exercise a crappy diet
  • You need strength training and rest
  • Some women are afraid to lift weights because they are afraid to bulk out, but it is very difficult to bulk out
  • I have been lifting for several years and I am not bulking by any means
  • When you do a Keto diet, your body actually burned your fat for fuel – fantastic
  • My recommended for exercise is ideally 2 days minimum of full body weightlifting and keep 2 days in between to rest and I do 3 days of cardio, a HIIT cardio to make your heart stronger because your heart is a muscle
  • Elliptical is not challenging that’s why you can do it for an hour
  • Walking outside is way better than sitting your butt on a bike
  • You would really want a weight-bearing exercise
  • Chronic cardio will hold on to energy store and fat because it knows what you’re doing

Tip #5 – Use make-up sparingly

  • You want to be careful with make-up and skincare
  • Make sure that your products do not contain phthalates and Parabens because they are not good stuff
  • Parabens has actually been linked to breast cancer
  • Most breast tumors has parabens trace on it
  • I don’t recommend most commercial product because oftentimes they replace the paraben with equally harmful chemicals and we don’t know what they are
  • Also, avoid plastics because it contains estrogen mimicker which is equally as bad as parabens
  • Things like water bottles, the liners of can, soy and flax
  • Getting a professional make-up artist to show you how to apply make-up that is most flattering on your age is really important

 

Tip #6 – Hair

  • One of the things that I like is this compact by Madison Reed and it is like this little powder
  • You can dab it on your hair and it’s all natural, healthy and really good
  • Find a hairstyle that is really good on you
  • I like long hair and I like it styled so most days, I curl my hair
  • Don’t do one of those old ladies haircut

 

Tip #7 – Don’t smoke

  • It makes you so much older
  • And too much alcohol does the same thing
  • I love my wine, especially my French wine or Italian wine which is very low in sugar and alcohol and it is actually heart healthy if you don’t over do it
  • As far as hard alcohol spirit. I know some of you loves vodka, but quite frankly I don’t do vodka because it is made with grains, corns or potatoes
  • The tequila is cleaner. It’s known as a fat burning tonic
  • Do not drink too much and don’t smoke at all
  • If you have a cocktail, please don’t put sugar in it because it very inflammatory

 

Tip #8 – Drink a lot of water

  • I highly recommend a gallon a day
  • At a very minimum, you want to make sure you have half an ounce per body weight
  • Once you are feeling thirsty, you are already dehydrated
  • First thing in the morning have a 16oz of water, add lemon and a little bit of salt and that will really help your adrenal function and get some hydration
  • Have a liter by 9, 12, 3 and 6
  • If you hate water, make a bubble water or infused water
  • You can also drink tea
  • Drink your water and you’ll be happy and healthy
  • If you think your hungry, you may want to drink some water first because maybe you’re just dehydrated or thirsty 

Tip #9 – Supplement

  • Supplement your diet because everyone doesn’t get the nutrients they need on their food
  • Our food is not that nutrient dense as it used to be, so I implore you to supplement
  • Take a multivitamins, multi mineral, fish oil, vitamin D
  • The other supplement that I love is my Human Growth Hormone supplement and that is a topical micro dose homeopathic HGH supplement
  • It also have thyroid and adrenal boosters in it
  • It is the fountain of youth
  • Many age-related symptoms seems to have a positive response to human growth hormone
