I’m 57 years young or years of experience on planet Earth
I am a wife and mother of two adult children
Professionally, I am a speech-language pathologist and for fun, I like to read, travel spend time with my girlfriends and my family
Before um coming to High Energy Girl, I’ve been through breast cancer twice
So I’m going through chemo and my children at a young age, I knew that I wanted to live
I knew it was important for me to eat right and exercise
Prior to finding High Energy Girl on either Facebook or Instagram, Ii had a personal trainer because I know myself and I need accountability
Paying a personal trainer, I knew I had to go to the gym I had an appointment
So I was seeing him for over 10, added up how much I’ve spent – thousands of dollars and I was seeing changes but not the ones that I wanted to see change
I did lose some weight, but I just couldn’t get rid of those last 10-12 pounds, lose some inches, have more energy. Around 1:30 every day, I’m ready to go to sleep, I’m tired, lack of energy
Sometimes falling asleep was hard or I would wake up tired
So that’s how I was before, and I did I exercised three times a week, I ate right or at least I thought I did, drank my water, did my meditation
I did all kinds of things, I turned over every rock because I knew I wanted to survive
When I came across High Energy Girl, I told myself, “okay this is a woman, she’s in my age bracket, and why not? Let me see if I can see a different change in myself, going with somebody instead of being with a man who’s in his 30s
Realizing everything I’ve been through and then going through your 90-day program, I’ve learned so much
You (Tracee) are a wealth of information about our bodies like my post-menopause body, the hormones and what can I be, what I should be eating now
Ss we age, I realized too that certain foods I ate when I was younger, I can’t eat today
I knew sugar was a cancer enhancer so I knew sugar was not a part of my lifestyle and it’s hard to find foods that don’t have sugar in them
And again, I need somebody to tell me what to do
For the food, I’ve been searching for a nutritionist to tell me what to eat, give me a menu, give me a recipe, give me a food shopping list, I needed that you (Tracee) offered that so I saw a huge difference
In your five-day initial program, I lost three pounds
I lost those extra post menopause midsection weight in inches
I fit into my favorite pair of jeans now, size four

The fact that you offer so much in your program, you offer podcasts, you offer videos that we can go on and watch when we’re able to watch them, you offer little group sessions, you offer one-on-one time, throughout that, you’ve educated me about going through the journal that I have so many sidebar notes just simple things that I didn’t know about
You’ve (Tracee) taught me more about my body and how it works
I’ve always drank a lot of water but knowing that there’s so much you should drink in the morning and what you should drink at night and throughout the day
And the intermittent fasting that I had never heard about until being with you and those plateau busters – you’ve just taught me a wealth of information on how to eat better, feel better about myself, and to live a longer, stronger, healthier lifestyle

The accountability, I’ll have to figure out what I’m gonna do because I am somebody who likes to check off or highlight when I’ve accomplished something so I will continue doing that
I knew spices helped but again, giving me a recipe to put together that helps me is great so what wisdom would you tell
WORDS OF WISDOM
Take a leap of faith
It’s your body, your life\
Take it from me, you only get one body, one lifetime unless you believe in many lives
But if you want to see a change, it’s up to you
You have to make that first step
And if you need help and guidance, Tracee’s there for you
Especially if you’ve tried other things like I did and done things and have not been successful, and have not reached your goal, this is an opportunity to do it with women that are like-minded, same age group, supportive
I love the fact that I got to meet other women going through the same thing that I’m going through and bounce things off of each other, it’s just a nice camaraderie of women strong women wanting to live longer and healthier lives
The other thing is, whether you do it or not, don’t compare yourself to other people. We’re all different, we all have different levels where we can lose the weight faster or slower
You have to love yourself and be happy with yourself

It well worth it
My brother is a medical doctor and I’ll never forget what he said to me
He said, people complain about a $75 ability to help themselves feel to feel better and health-wise but they’ll go out and buy a $150 football ticket
Or even like food… people complain about how much good healthy food is but they go out and buy hundreds of bucks on chips and sodas and stuff that’s not good for you
So, yes it was well worth it to me because my health is important to me
I want to live a long, healthy, happy, strong life
