HOW TO: Survive the Weekend Life

 

Typical Scenario – you are “good” all week, drop a few lbs, and then comes the weekend.

You have a wedding on Saturday. You have a little wine, which makes your inhibitions disappear and you forgot all about the reason you got started on this journey to begin with. 🤔

Then you think, well I already blew it, may as well have fun all weekend and start again on Monday.
Sound familiar? 🤨

 

To avoid that weekend trap, use these tips to stay tight and still have fun.

Say you have a wedding to attend…

 

Flexible Dieting – Choose from these 3 options

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

OMAD
Save all your calories for that one meal of the day. If you have a wedding, don’t eat all day, enjoy your coffee with MCT oil and save your calories for your celebration. 

 

Cleansing
You can cleanse the day or two after the wedding to make up for the extra calories consumed.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Food Choices
Skip the breadbasket. Protein and veggies. If you want wine, then you will not have dessert. You can always find healthy protein, roasted vegetables, and lovely salads. Avoid hanging out by the appetizer table and have really good conversations, so that way, you’re not sitting there picking at the snacks.

 

Drinks
Dry wines or spirits with no sugar added mixers. Always have a tall glass of sparkling water in between each glass of wine. That way, you stay hydrated and you keep something in your hand so that you’re not picking at food. Every time I go to a restaurant or a party, I always try to have some sparkling water and that keeps me refreshed.
Don’t fall into the weekend trap, and if you accidentally do, get right back up at the very next meal. Because like we always say, every meal is another chance to feed your body the food it needs to thrive.
