Meet Rajshree:

Rajshree Patel is a mind and meditation expert and an international self-awareness coach, trainer, and speaker. Over the last 30 years, she has taught hundreds of thousands of people in more than 35 countries the power of meditation, mindfulness, breath work, and other ancient tools for accessing the innate source of energy, creativity, and fulfillment within.

ABOUT RAJSHREE

  • I am a new first-time author
  • I have a book coming out on October 1st, The Power of Vital Force
  • I am an Indian by background and I came to this country in 1973
  • I went on and became a Federal Prosecutor and I left that in 1989 because I had this chance meeting with Sri Sri Ravi Shankar who is a spiritual master
  • But, at that time, I was not seeking anything. I was just this left-brain lawyer that is working in LA thinking that I was going to a music concert but landed up in a spiritual 9-hour program and I decided to stay just out of curiosity
  • The Universe had a hand in somehow me, getting into meditation, human development and potential business – I just love what I do
  • I travel around the world to spread the message on really how to harness the power that we are born with and how to maximize our lives so that we are really happy inside and thriving outside
  • I met the master back in 1989 and he invited me to go visit India
  • So, I decided to give myself a little break and go to India for 2 months, spend a little time learning about meditation, maybe go tracking to Nepal and I did come back for 5 years
  • In 1989 no one heard about yoga and meditation, now everybody does it
  • It was certainly a journey, it was not a road very well-traveled, but I connected with myself and my own voice
  • Somehow, there is a bigger force and power in guiding me to a place that opened many doors
  • I find to be true, certainly in my life that as I walked through a door reluctantly, another door opens
  • The Universe guides me and moves me forward as I take small chances, I get more support
  • In a very mechanical sense, the vital force would sound as energy but it’s really vitality
  • It’s innate force field of dynamism that we are surrounded in
  • It’s intelligence with energy
  • We all need vital force because every success is directly related to that
  • I myself have done reiki and I was trained in it
  • What I know is that the moment when you invite it or the moment when you start to connect to it, you are already flowing with it
  • When I was a lawyer, I was doing all the things I have to do but I wasn’t really having anything left to do for the things that I want to do
  • It had never occurred to me that had I just more energy, I could do more. Not just for the thing I have to do, but for the things I want to do
  • For me, that was my first wakeup call
  • The only thing I knew about energy was food, calories, sugar and that keeps my body moving, but it does not make me vibrant and thriving
  • So, I realized that there is another kind of energy
  • And what I haven’t discovered is that breathing, as simple as it sounds, taps into accesses another dimension of energy not just our body, but our mind and cognition
  • The most basic tip that I could tell to a person is to start to do 2 things, conscious breathing, and elongate breathing
  • Every inhalation not only gives us oxygen, but also energy
  • Every time we breathe out, we release physical toxins, lactic acids, pollutions
  • And we also release the Co2 of the mind and the emotion. Meaning, stress
  • That I would say is that fastest and easiest thing
  • When I wake up, I lie on my back and do 10 long breaths and I invite everybody to do this
  • You shut down the mind which was processing because our limbic brain is processing a lot of information at night
  • And when we wake up, we don’t have a chance to close it and breathing physiologically, that long conscious breath moves us from sympathetic stress response to power sympathetic – calm and relaxation response
  • The moment we relax, we open a lot of channels for that energy to flow through
  • I let my awareness drift and naturally, I let my hand move and I do this as a habit
  • We are an electrical system and we don’t anything about it
  • We are born with an enormous amount of Qi and our nature is loving light as children, that’s who we are
  • Nobody teaches us on how to let go and it kind of takes us time to let it go and over time we just drop it
  • But we don’t actually drop it, those are our energy blocks and overtime that kinds of covers our essence
  • One is intentionality
  • If we put intentionality towards our own identity, we really start to expand
  • Who we are inside are far bigger than our achievements
  • Our potentiality is so much more, but our limited voice identity gets in our way
  • We are made up of vibration
  • Our vibe is louder than our words, actions, and deeds
  • We never really connect it that way
  • If we can see ourselves and love ourselves, and the positive emotions of love, acceptance, care, connection, kindness, gratitude, these are really high vibrations
  • Self-doubt and critical voice are all things that generate emotions that are very low frequency
  • Then, we are no longer in charge of creating the life we want
  • Whether it’s body, mind or some outer success and it governs us
  • If self-acceptance is really what you want, you’ve up-leveled your vibrations
  • And that invites your energy or life force, you support you to make the change you want
  • Our bodies are made of electrons and protons
  • Obviously, if two protons immediately respond to the same, there isn’t any kind of a difference
  • Our intentionality that is positive changes the molecular structure
  • There is more space than there is matter on the planet
  • In that space, it’s energy
  • It’s not mechanical energy, it’s a loving force
  • This energy has intelligence in it
  • Big bang theory says that life is continuously expanding and we as human beings, are constantly evolving in awareness
  • And if we have a positive awareness of ourselves, we change our vibration
  • Our life is in us and around us
  • It’s this force filled that binds us and holds us together that keeps the cosmos perfectly aligned
  • The way nature has set it up is when you breathe in, you breath in life
  • The quality of the force reflects love and joy
  • When we breathe out, the universe set it up
  • In that exhale, we release what doesn’t support that force

FAVORITE PRACTICES

  • I meditate every day
  • I take meditation pauses. Meaning, even if I am in motion, I will bring awareness to myself
  • My mornings begin with 10-minute meditations
  • Some meditations build gray matter, meaning decision making
  • Some meditations bring coherence that allows you to transcend all the mental activity and I teach that
  • Meditation is the act of quieting the system, consciously allowing the system down
  • I do keep plants because nature gives you a vital force
  • Walking barefooted on grass not only grounds you but it recharges you and gives you vitality in the system
  • People should just go for it because there is nothing to lose
  • Close your eyes and connect with yourself
