I’m a certified health coach and creator of the Fat Adapted Babe process. I’m passionate about helping women take back control over their bodies!
Although it might not look like it now, I’ve always felt like my body was completely out of my control. I couldn’t trust my own body. I had anxiety, depression, and my appetite was unmanageable. I never felt satisfied and struggled with constant cravings, that I would always end up giving in to. Over the years I’ve gone from starving myself, to constant binge eating. My weight was constantly fluctuating within a 50 lb range!
Eventually I realized something needed to change. I couldn’t live my life always trying to control my body and food. Counting calories, tracking macros, and daily weigh ins were not working. Not only was I not getting results, I was actually looking and feeling worse. I didn’t understand what I was doing wrong. All of the measuring and tracking wasn’t working. It also wasn’t something I wanted to do for the rest of my life! It wasn’t sustainable. I was a slave to food, and I wasn’t enjoying life anymore. It’s hard to be happy when you feel so terrible about your body! At some point I became so sick of it and so defeated, that I gave up. I couldn’t do it anymore. I stopped all my efforts to lose weight. Instead, I did what made me feel my best, and ate only foods that my body wanted.
What felt like failure was one of the best things that could ever happen to me. That “failure” was the day I got my life and my body back. To gain control you have to release control. When I gave up, I released all control, and by doing that I actually achieved more control over my body and my life than I ever thought was possible.
You CAN get your body under control.
You CAN feel good again.
I PROMISE.
By releasing control and listening to my body, I was able to lose weight EFFORTLESSLY. I wasn’t even trying! On top of that, I was able to heal my body from: chronic illness, fibromyalgia, and hypoglycemia! I was no longer on the verge of developing Type 2 diabetes. My brain fog, anxiety, depression, cystic acne, and constant bloating disappeared! I actually had energy again! More energy than I’d ever had in my life! My life did a complete 180. I went from feeling like I was dying to feeling more alive than I thought possible!
I achieved all of this by listening to my body, which led me to discover over a 1.5 year period, the Fat Adapted Babe process. I’ve now dedicated myself to teaching this process to women, who are stuck like I was. I know what it’s like, and I know how to get out
We are not victims to our body. Our bodies don’t just become fat, sick, and out of control. We’re doing this to ourselves, and we don’t even realize it! While we think we are doing good by tracking calories and eating “heart healthy”, we are actually making things worse. Our inputs need to change. You don’t have to live this way any longer! There is a solution, and that’s what I’m here to provide, with lots of love and laughs along the way.
If you feel called,
I hope you’ll join me in taking back control of your body.
Your life is about to change in AMAZING ways.

ABOUT RACHEL
I am a health coach that specializes in weight loss and whole body women for women
In the past, I struggled with eating disorder, restriction and binge-eating disorder as well as chronic illness
I was able to heal my self through diet changes, mindset shift an rewiring my brain
Now, my life and health is completely transformed
Now, I teach other women how to do the same
My chronic illness was a mystery illness for years and years
We really did not know what was going on
We went to so many doctors and they could not figure out what was going on
But what I was experiencing was starting out me getting pain when I would eat a certain food – really extreme aching muscles
And so I would cut out the food and the pain would go away, but it would returned and then I would notice that it was another food causing it, and I would cut that out, then the pain will go away, but eventually it will return
This was a pattern went on fro 5 or 6 years. Until eventually, I was down to being able to eat only 7 foods without being excruciating pain over my whole entire body
I was having extreme bloating. I look like I was pregnant all the time and I am pretty thin
I started having severe panic attacks on a daily basis
I eventually got so sick and I don’t know what to do. Like, if I don’t figure this out, I am not going to survive
My body was just shutting down and my hormones stopped working
So, I went to see this doctor in California
I did not even have the money to being able to go, because it was not covered with my insurance
So, I took out 6 thousand dollar loan and I have no clue how I was even going to pay the loan
But, I just went anyways because I knew I do not have a choice
And when I was there, I found out I had small intestinal bacteria overgrowth
I have something called, mitochondria dysfunction
So, I was not able to get energy from food and water like most people, so my whole body was shutting down
From there, that’s when I started shifting my diet and my mindset and I was able to heal something that is very difficult or impossible to heal
My doctor introduced me to this program called Dynamic Neural Retraining System (DNRS)
It teaches you on how to retrain your brain
It teaches you to rewire the pathways of you brain so that you don’t experience symptoms of illness anymore
That was the start of shifting my mindset
From there, it started working.
I was retraining my brain for an hour, everyday for 6 months
At the end of the 6 months, I was feeling a lot better and I want to keep doing this
So then I just started branching out and reading different books of mindset
Now, it is transformed into my own little practice everyday
I don’t do brain retraining anymore, but I do different things everyday
But I usually take at least an hour or 3 hours a day, I dedicate to meditating, focusing on gratitude, visualizing where I want to be in my life and connecting to my soul
I brought all of it into my life and so, I was the one who had to heal it because I was the who caused it
Because I was such in a negative mindset
There was no goodness in me, no joy and none of these positive aspects. So, what filled that empty space was sickness
I have eating disorder, so I kind of cause all those food sensitivities not knowingly because I feared food so much
So, my brain picked up on that so I could not eat food
When I got over the fear of what they would do to me and really focusing on joy and positivity, all of what I thought was allergies went away
All of the body reactions went away
I can eat anything now without a problem because I decided that I could
I was in the depth of chronic illness just a year ago
Late June of last year, I was so ill that walking for a minute was exhausting
So I just started doing that brain retraining program and I was doing it every single day
I did not care if it was working or not
I committed myself to it and chose to believe that it would help me
I just believed it with all my heart and every single day I started to feel better
It has been a year since I went to the doctor. Probably, 6 months to really heal
Now, I just feel even better and better
A DAY IN LIFE OF YOUR DIET
I eat all real whole foods – nothing process
I do Keto, but higher carbs Keto while still remaining in ketosis
For instance, for breakfast today, I made a zucchini boats, chicken, salsa and avocado
I typically eat 2 meals a day
I eat tons of vegetables
80% of my diet is vegetable
I eat lots of health fats and organic grass-fed proteins
I do add in some fruits like strawberries and even sometimes, I eat half a banana. I don’t eat tons of fruits but I do incorporate them
I eat extremely intuitively. So, I really just eat when my body is hungry and it changes constantly
There are some days that I feel hungry all day and so I’ll just eat through out the whole day
It really depends what my body tells me
I just eat intuitively a 100%, but I am able to stay in ketosis by doing it because my body know what it wants and it feels good in ketosis
Sensing my huger definitely took time
With the history of binge-eating I did not know hot to listen on my hunger signals
I just did not know how to listen to my body and it definitely took practice for sure
When I started eating this way, I had some slip-ups every now and then but I learned from them
And over time, I was able to get to where I am today
I discovered Keto when I told myself that I am going to eat thing that I feel good eating
And when I did I naturally went into Ketosis and it helped the bloating so much
If I haven’t started Keto, I would not be where I am today because it got my body calmed down to be able to do the brain training and get some nourishment in so that I could hea
FAVORITE KETO MEAL
I used to be obsessed with avocado, but I kind of avocado myself out
I kind of now want Keto meals that have more carbs in them
Right now, I am really obsess with this pasta salad that I make with spaghetti squash
I do exercise but I am not crazy for it
Because I also have a history of exercise addiction
But I try to walk for at least about an hour every single day
About 2-3 times a week I do 15-30 minutes of body weight movements or yoga
BENEFITS OF KETOGENIC DIET
Ketogenic diet seriously saved my life because I did do the DNRS program, and without the Ketogenic diet, I would not have been able to do the program because I was having daily panic attacks, I could not think straight and I could not function
Starting Keto made me think a little bit. It calmed my nervous system, it stopped my nervous attacks so, I was able to focus myself on the program and retrain my brain
If it weren’t for Keto, I would not be where I am today
It seriously saved my life
Keto was also helping with the hormone regulation, but it has also a cooling effect on the brain
Because the ketones from the diet is so anti-inflammatory
My brain was so inflamed, I think and it just calmed my brain down and my body, and that’s because of fats
When I was on my eating disorder, I hardly eat fat
I ate some, but fat was something I fear
I got over that fear and it changed my life
ADVICE:
Listen to you body
Don’t do what everyone is doing. Do what you feel is best for your body and what makes you feel your best
Don’t fall into the diet Keto version, but do it for health and weight loss ill come
If you use Keto as more of a lifestyle just to get healthy, they you’re going to benefit so much more and it will make it sustainable
I did get tested for food sensitivities
What worked the best was MRT, but what I discovered was all of my the way I reacted to food which I thought was food sensitivity, but it weren’t
All of the food that I was eating were not coming up on my MRT test
I do think the MRT is pretty accurate and I only have few in their that I am genuinely sensitive to
Gluten was one of them
My doctor started me on a protocol of probiotics, antimicrobials and prebiotics as well
