Welcome to My Blog! I have been wanting a “real” blog for so long and now it is finally here! Time for the world to know the real me, not intended to be phony to make people like me, just intended to challenge your thinking, make
a difference, meet new friends, love the old, and be who I was created to be!
A friend recently asked me, “If you could do anything you wanted to do for a career, you would have all the talent and knowledge, and ability to do it, what would you want to be?” After thinking for a few minutes, my answer was,
“Be a Mom!” Let’s face it, my 5 years in college was simply looking for that MRS degree! Luckily I did graduate with a BS in International Business, got accepted to Law School and found that MRS degree on my year hiatus so I could travel the world!!! And now I am the Mom of three teenage boys! God help me!
Recently I heard this quote which really resonated with me! “God’s gift to mankind is more talent and ability then we will ever hope to use in our lifetime. Our gift to God is to develop as much of that talent and ability as we can in this lifetime.” Greg Provenzano. As my nest will be empty in 2 1/2 short years, it is time to find the next phase.
What is my talent and ability? How could I possibly honor God while developing something I didn’t even recognize? This is my quest; to discover my purpose, the reason God has me here still living on this planet. Nurture those passions that are burning inside me, discover new ones, and pass on love. That is the greatest human need, right?
