Keto Sweeteners: Best and Worst Sweeteners

Wondering what sweeteners you should use? In today’s video, I will be sharing with you the best and worst keto sweeteners.

One of my favorite sweeteners is liquid organic monk fruit. I put it in my coffee and it’s just a little bit it goes a long
way. One bottle will last me like four months and it actually has a really nice flavor. My next favorite is liquid stevia. It has all kinds of different flavors. I don’t usually use many sweeteners unless it’s just
in my coffee.

I love swerve too. Now, this is erythritol which is a sugar alcohol. Some people get confused because it says it has carbs when it is shown on a label but it’s also going to show this sugar alcohol and you get to deduct it because the calories are not absorbed into your body, so it’s safe.

I love monk fruit sweetener for baking, but I don’t do many keto treats because I find that they’re a slippery slope and so I just really try to stay away from that and have more savory things.

The three sweeteners you want to stay away from are the blue packets, the yellow packets, and the pink packets.

The pink packets are kind of old school they’re fading out but it’s sweet n low and I know that there are some people who still love it but it’s carcinogenic along with the blue packets which are aspartame or equal and that’s the type of stuff you find in like diet

There’s a documentary called food matters that goes deep into the whole aspartame thing but please
just leave it out of your diet.

Last is Splenda or sucralose which is the yellow packets. You will find that in many beverages as well and that’s really harmful in your gut microbiome, and we know that gut health is super important because you want to keep all the good bacteria and not the bad bacteria.

So, tell me, what is your favorite sweetener?
